-- Light Speed Drivers -- (LIVE - Unit Moebius vs Blaise)

Jan Duivenvoorde (Unit Moebius) and Blaise were well known for their psychedelic records in the 90's, not to mention the ground breaking impact Jan had with Unit Moebius on the international techno/detroit scene. The Light Speed Drivers project with Blaise geared more towards the faster psychedelic sound played at the Mononom raves back in the days. We were more then delighted to hear of Jans solo project reboot (Unit Moebius Anonymous), and became ecstatic when we heard he was once again making music with Blaise. Expect the unexpected!!

This enfant terrible of the dutch tekno scene has been around for ages and is well known for his part in ZMK soundsystem, which took origin in the aftermath of the late nineties. Also his step towards producing has not been uneventful with releases on (amongst others) Mackitek and Obs.Cur. Being the walking talking musical encyclopedia we asked him to prepare a mind bending set consisting of records you would hear back when we were still making our ways to parties by train and foot, and staying at a party until the generator could handle no more!

Another veteran in desperate need of a reboot! Having played all over Europe with AA (Acid Anonymous) soundsystem his sound is well known to the ravers of the late 90's. His acid sets were among the finest back then and we dare say he has some special tricks up his sleeve for you this night! One not to be missed!

When PDK soundsystem started to give their first parties in muddy fields they came across two homeless tekno veterans. Being open to all influences they asked them to dust off their old records and play an acid set. This turned into a 5 hour dancing mayhem and in the mud an alliance was formed between them and PDK soundsystem to make booty's shake to both old and new tunes, eventually leading up to Sifres's 7 record streak in the last two years. This night we would like to share with you a glimpse what happened on that muddy field in 2010. Rain boots advised!

Verwacht een feestelijk gevarieerde line up met oldschool, early rave, véél tekno, acid, hardtek & underground hardcore en natuurlijk zal de entree gratis zijn!
Al stellen wij een donatie erg oprijs.

Naast een dikke line up en een goed aangeklede zaal zal er buiten een sfeervolle chill out worden gecreeerd en zullen er diverse jongleer en vuur acts plaats vinden, maar meer verklappen we nog niet.

We starten de line up met onze oude rot 2R1 (two are one). Marwin is één van onze veelzijdigste dj's binnen dvs. Met zijn inmense platenverzameling is hij in staat letterlijk alles te draaien op het gebied van electronische muziek. Zijn verzameling gaat ver terug in de jaren 80. Van Italo tot acid, van ambient tot hardcore. Niets is hem te gek. Zo heeft hij op dvs feesten zeer uiteenlopende sets gedraaid. Dit keer zal hij garant staan voor een dikke oldschool set, oplopend naar earlyrave.
Maar verder hebben we natuurlijk ook nog al onze andere krachtpatsers in petto voor je.

SPOOTNIK is één van onze meest bekende dj's en heeft zich al veel bewezen op diverse freeparty's en reguliere feesten. Zijn uniqema cd's, die hij veel verspreidde op freeparty's zullen mensen die al langer tekno feesten bezoeken niet vergeten zijn. Ook is hij al van het begin af aan nauw betrokken geweest bij het meedenken en organiseren binnen dvs en houdt zich graag bezig met het decoreren van onze feesten. Zijn stijl is erg gevarieerd en opbouwend, maar nooit hetzelfde. Het best omschreven als stevige tekno met uitvluchten naar acid, breaks, hardtek en underground hardcore.

Dit keer zal hij samen met EIZE, één van onze andere trouwe crewmembers een diep maar beukende tekno set gaan neerzetten. Eize is één van de grondleggers van het kierewiet soundsystem, maar heeft zich afgelopen jaren ook meerdere malen bewezen bij dvs. Zowel met zijn heerlijk flowende acidtekno sets als bij het geven van onze feesten was hij een zeer onmisbare factor. Een vriendelijk persoon en talentvolle dj, waar je nog veel van zult gaan horen.

Een andere dvs dj waar je nog veel van zult gaan horen is T3KR0. Romano draait al enige tijd mee bij dvs en is ook een onmisbaar persoon en dj gebleken. Zijn enthousiasme voor het geven van feesten en draaien op freeparty's maakt hem tot een goede aanwinst voor het dikke vinger soundsystem. Ook heeft hij veel ervaring opgedaan bij zijn soundsystem decepticons waar wij door de tijd heen veel aan hebben gehad. Zijn strakke en harde tekno sets zorgen altijd voor vele bewegende voetjes en joelende mondjes op de dansvloer. Op 5 years dvs zal hij samen met een nieuwe verse aanwinst van het system, waar wij nader over zullen toelichten gaan zorgen voor een energieke en harde afsluiting.

Buiten onze eigen knallers hebben we ook de hulp van twee speciale guest acts.
STEFAN ZMK is bij velen bekend en draait op vele feesten in binnen en buitenland. Zijn gevarieerde stijl is mental, duister en diep met een hard randje. Stefan heeft door de tijd heen op meerdere van onze feesten gedraait en wist het publiek altijd weer te raken. Ook heeft hij een aantal feesten met ons mogen ervaren die iets minder succesvol waren, maar toch deed hij met volledige passie zijn ding. Dit verdient ons respect en wij zijn dan ook zeer blij Stefan te mogen verwelkomen op ons vijf jarig bestaansjubileum.

Twee andere speciale gasten die we voor je in petto hebben zijn THE UNBREAKABLE vs DJ THOOZA. Zijn gaan zorgen voor een exclusieve early hardcore set in het begin van de avond en dit wil je zeker niet missen! Op voorgaande feesten waren zij een groot succes bij zowel het hardcore als tekno publiek en konden het niet laten hen deze keer weer uit te nodigen voor een knallende set. Maar als je denkt dat we je alleen maar oude meuk willen voeren heb je het mis.

We hebben je ook een aantal frisse talenten te bieden. TROY is één van onze nieuwste aanwinsten in de organisatie en in de line up. Hij zal zich samen met zijn vriend KRIJN garant stellen voor een knallende acid/acidcore dj-set. Mensen die op ons koninginnendag feest waren vorig jaar moeten al iets hebben meegekregen van deze toppers.

Last, but not least hebben wij je INNERCORE te bieden. Deze snoeihard draaiende dame zal samen met T3KR0 gaan zorgen voor een keiharde afsluiting! Eva's stijl is industrieel, maar flowend. Romano's stijl is opgewekt. Samen maken ze de beste cross-over tussen hardtek & industrial hardcore in z'n meest puurste vorm. Beware!!!

Naast onze dj's hebben we de hulp van twee bijzondere vj's.
NUMTEK VISUALS is in Den Haag en omstreken al een ruim begrip op het gebied van visuals. Met zijn projecties, die hij over de nacht heen verplaatst door de ruimte. Doet hij muren, inclusief speakermuren tot leven komen! Dylan is ook door de tijd heen een goeie vriend van DVS gebleken en heeft ons meerdere malen bijgestaan.

Daarbij krijgt hij hulp van één van onze andere huis-vj's PUIKEGAST VISUALS. Patrick is al jaren nauw betrokken bij dvs. Zo heeft hij vaak geopend als dj en live set met zijn heerlijke techno beats en is hij nauw betrokken bij het maken van dvs decoratie. Ook heeft hij zich al meerdere malen ingezet als vj.
Patrick zal zorgen voor vette visuals en beelden laten zien van onze 5 jarige historie.

Met andere woorden:

Mocht je toch verhindert zijn om te komen kunnen wij je blij maken met het feit dat ROCKY van DELIC CREW, bestaand uit hijzelf en DMC GEE de gehele nacht bezig zal zijn met het live streamen van de party! Zelfs als je met een gebroken been thuis zit, kan je toch deel uit maken van ons vijfjarigbestaans jubileum.

Zodiak Commune moves to Strijp-S for Queensday 2013

A new location, two stages and a new name; Zodiak Commune moves to Strijp-S for Queensday. With the inauguration of a new king, also the name of the annual Queen's parade of the Eindhoven organization changes; From 2013 onwards, it is Acid Orange what is celebrated. With a banging Acid and Techno main stage and a crackling second stage, oozing from the Drum & Bass and Tekno, the tone is set already; Rain or shine, it is definitely going to thunder on April 30th at Strijp-S!

Strijp-S was once surrounded by fences and barriers, being called 'the Forbidden City' in Eindhoven. But on the 30th of April 2013 Strijp-S will be nothing less but 'the place to be”, characterized by its open atmosphere. Surrounded by Eindhoven’s industrial heritage, various party promoters no longer stand opposed to each other and the municipality, but will be standing together to create an unforgettable day. So finally Acid Orange by Zodiak Commune and PACT by Dommelvallei will again be located only a stone's throw from each other this year. A good excuse again for the real Acid Freaks and Techno Heads to spend a day wandering between the two freely accessible areas and the other festivities which Strijp-S has to offer that day, such as Monk, Klok Rock Orange and much more!

Besides the well-known resident DJs of Zodiak Commune, this year Stratum will make his Queensday debut on the main stage of Acid Orange, after leaving his marks last year at TAG: Festival under the name William Woortman. Jan Liefhebber at his turn is already bouncing up and down impatiently for years, which you will experience at first hand when he also climbs the main stage of Acid Orange. Even the French DJ Pzylo will be joining the party once more by popular demand, so you can be sure that you will be getting an overwhelming dose of Acid and Techno in your face one way or the other. As of this year, even the real speaker freakers can be indulged by what Zodiak Commune has to offer, as for at the second stage of Acid Orange mostly free party-like scenes will be taking place, with musical accompaniment of the roughest Drum & Bass and Techno. Not only the men of Zinloos Geluid and Zodiak Commune, but also underground heroes like Stefan (ZMK), the live act Sifres and Woofer Junkies ensure that you'd better brace yourself before you are blown out of your shoes.

Waalhalla ligt in een gebied dat niet toegankelijk is voor publiek wegens veiligheidsoverwegingen. Deze dag zullen wij helemaal niet open zijn. Helaas heeft de gemeente dit net, slechts 3 weken voor het evenement, kenbaar gemaakt terwijl de vergunning op 7 januari al binnen was. Een mooie blunder waar Waalhalla & KonkreteBeats machteloos staan.

Er wordt naar een nieuwe datum voor Konkrete Beats gekeken!

Na een jaar van afwezigheid is Konkretebeats weer terug in Waalhalla. Organisator Razzle was even op reis, maar heeft de draad weer opgepakt en doet dat met een wel heel dikke birthday bash op 20 april. Niemand minder dan CURRENT VALUE zal deze avond Waalhalla op z’n grondvesten laten schudden… DRUM & BASS 2.0.

De avond wordt geopend door Lenny en Oktagon, de lokale Drum&Bass residents van Impact en Tactics. Verwacht lekkere diepe rollende tunes van deze 2 heren. Resident Razzle warmt de dansvloer verder voor jullie op. De Berlijnse Current Value staat op de voorgrond van de underground Drum&Bass scene. Zijn producties zijn vooruitstrevend en van hoogwaardige kwaliteit. Deze producer heeft voor de kenners onder ons geen verdere introductie nodig. Rest ons alleen nog te zeggen, niet voor bangeriken…

Sam C. zal met zijn eigen stijl de brug slaan tussen Drum&Bass en Tekno. Met diverse releases afgelopen jaar op o.a. Obs.cur, Neurotrope en Dosis Decibel is deze lokale held hard op weg een gevestigde naam in de scene te worden. Zijn tracks werden al gedraaid door Manu le Manin op Prspct XL.

De avond wordt, zoals jullie gewend zijn van Konkretebeats, in stijl afgeklapt. Stefan ZMK & Li-Z nemen deze taak op zich met een stevige mix van Tekno, Acid en Acidcore. Get your rave on!!!

De Jongens van Dirty Soap zullen in de grote zaal zorgen voor mooie visuals

De kleine zaal wordt dit keer niet gevuld met de warme Boomshakalak klanken, maar door de Rave Train hardcrew uit Arnhem. Deze gasten trekken graag met een winkelwagen vol speakers door de straten. Met drumcomputers en effecten maken ze live de lekkerste beats om op te dansen! Bekend in Arnhem en omstreken van o.a. de wunderbaum feesten en graag geziene gasten bij de Camping comfort Zone. In the early summer of 2013 we are organising the first edition of Odd Sins! This is a new European event, based on the principles of the crazy and magical Burning Man festival.

The event will not be a traditional festival, theatre performance, concert, fair, circus, movie theatre, dance event, club, camping or chill out.

It’s not a place where you just consume, throw your empty beer cup on the ground and watch everything that is pre-planned by a tight production.

Instead, we're going to blend all of these things together to create a truly unique experience!
And when we say 'we', we really mean 'we'.

Dertig, het getal van deze avond. Voor de 30ste keer zal er een Drop! in 030 knallen. En daarbij wordt de founder van Drop!, Ozymandias, 30 jaar. De line-up is zeker weer om van te smullen en zal dit keer over 3 area's worden verdeeld.

De Zaal gaat een tandje harder, de Lobby dubstep/garage en drum and bass en Gebroeders van Heemschut hebben 2 dj's uitgenodigd met wie zij Ruimte 3 van muziek gaan voorzien. Zoals gewend van Drop! zal er ook voor het oog wat te zien zijn met lasers, extra licht effecten en visuals.

Het afgelopen jaar staan House en Techno in Apeldoorn weer volop in bloei, feestjes schoten als paddenstoelen uit de grond! Naar aanleiding hiervan zijn de initiatiefnemers van Pikzwart, Digital Lounge en Freeware een samenwerking aangegaan. Dit vanuit een gedeelde visie en passie voor elektronische muziek.

Op vrijdag 28 september 2012 bundelen wij onze krachten, dit zal zich uiten in de allereerste editie PIKZWART x DIGITAL LOUNGE x FREEWARE, verdeeld over twee area’s in Le Kink te Apeldoorn.

De line up bestaat uit resident- & gast dj’s van de organisaties.

Zaterdag 22 September is het tijd voor de tweede Hit 'n Run Soundsystem presents: Circus Overdrive!

Na de eerste zeer succesvolle edite gaan we weer terug naar Pand 14 in Amsterdam!

Omdat we voor muzikale variatie zijn maken we van deze mogelijkheid gebruik om alles te brengen wat we leuk vinden, en wel gespreid over twee zalen.

De bovenzaal zal gevuld worden met de dikste Dubstep, rollende Drum 'n Bass en vette Breakcore!
En in de benedenzaal kan je genieten van spacende Acid, meeslepende Tekno en knetterharde Underground Hardcore!
Zoals je gewend bent van Hit 'n Run zal er veel aandacht besteedt worden aan zowel aankleding als geluid en line-up.
Zo zullen de visuals gebracht worden door de Hit 'n Run VJ's en gaat het Hit 'n Run Soundsystem aangevuld worden met wat extra speakers van Target Sound zodat het dak van Pand 14 afgeblazen gaat worden!

De entree zal op basis zijn van donatie om zoveel mogelijk bij het free-party gevoel te blijven.

Contest time! We think it's cool to give new people a chance to play on our events, so we are looking an opening act for the steady beats room at the next Circus Overdrive event. Keywords: dark/downtempo/speedlimit 150 bpm. Rinse
Het echte werk begon voor Rinse toen hij in 2000 bij Acid Anonymous Soundsystem speelde. Dit was wat hem de kickstart gaf voor zijn carriere. Zijn live sets zijn altijd het hoogtepunt van de avond. Met een typerende sound die omschreven kan worden als hadcore acid met 'deep mental sounds' en een bass die met opbouwen tot de fijnste climax, en dat keer op keer.

Anarchitekt

Buitenspelers
Een project van LUKAST en PET (stamppasta, Klemtoon) waarin electronische muziek maken dezelfde rol neemt als het buitenspelen. Hutten bouwen, oorlogje spelen, vuurtje stoken en andere oneindige avonturen en improvisaties. Laat je meenemen in dit spel van Acid, Tekno en Breaks uitgewerkt met 100% hardware.

MR Gasmask vs. Acidolido
Mr. Gasmask, ooit begonnen in de blackmetal en goth scene. Nu geevolueerd naar brenger van een donkere coctail van horror muziek en keiharde beats. Hard acid en basslines die allemaal samenkomen in een brute set.

Acidolido bestaat uit twee italiaanse acid/tekno producers. De italiaanse amsterdammers spelen sinds 2008 onder deze naam. In 2010 hebben ze hun eigen label opgericht 00121 Records. Acidolido staat garant voor een vuige rave party.

Stefan ZMK & Liz HNR
Stefan is een bekende van Stamppasta, heeft in het evrleden al twee editie's helemaal op zijn kop gezet met zijn energieke mix van Acidcore, Hardtechno, Mental Hardcore, Industrial, idmBreaks en Rave!
En alsof dat nog niet genoeg is komt deze man samen met zijn vriendin LIZ HNR de avond afsluiten!

We're gonna get your face bass'd!

Het is tijd voor een feestje dat niet gebaseerd is op 1 of 2 genres. Wij geven je een party die afwisselend is en waarbij je van begin tot einde kan genieten van de bass. De beats per minute beginnen tijdens dit feest laag en gaan gedurende de party omhoog. Elke dj draait in zijn eigen stijl de platen met de meeste bass. Isn't that what you want?

We don't care about genre, we care about bass.
