Deep in the heart of Brixton, lies a seaside in the city! Full of nostalgic throw backs, cheeky humour, curious nooks and crannies, a bouncing roof-top bar, a wide variety of food vendors, palm trees, sand, deck chairs and more,
Brixton Beach Boulevard is the summer pop-up stealing London hearts this summer.

The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club will find a fitting home for the evening, in a venue custom built for escaping reality. Armed with his slick back-catalogue of 60s and 70s gems, Craig Charles (BBC Radio 6) is ready to catapult you into a weightless happy place, where antique anthems rule all. His supergoovalicious selections have made him the go-to guy for supplying the kind of Funk, Soul and Disco that even Phil Mitchell couldn’t resist shimmying to. Craig’s bountiful energy and enthusiasm for the music he plays is a thing of beauty to behold in itself. We wonder will Brixton Beach Boulevard ever rock this hard again?

As if we’d stop there! Pyro circus ravers Slamboree are with us for the evening, pairing big beats with fire-dancing, acrobats and more! The troupe have become firm festival favourites in recent years, with their high-octane show, delivering a menagerie of total mayhem to audiences across the UK!

But what would a beach party be without adding some total divas into the mix? Straight from Shoreditch Radio, Disco Freaks are sashaying down the boulevard, 7-inch vinyls in hand. Bringing nothing but attitude and groove, this duo wreak havoc and play hard, damning the dance floor to endless motion thanks to their hefty collection of potent Funk, Soul and Disco.

Notorious party brands Reggae Roast, Gin & Juice and Stepping It Into Tomorrow will also be on hand with DJ’s Adam Prescott, Elwood and Alexander Black providing some serious tune-age, heating things up during the day!

The tide is out, the beach is hot – come and play with us!
